About Dave Vaughan
Through highschool and college I played hockey, baseball and football. Around 15 years old I went to a Chicago Blackhawks camp and I was introduced to strength and conditioning training. I immediately loved it and saw the results of regular training in my performance. As my opportunities dwindled to take it to the next level I came up with an always be ready mindset. This worked for me as I got to college and was recruited to play football. As injuries came and went I was always training something. Eventually my athletic career(s) were over and I was left with training. I started in the physical therapy program at NIU and as I got to clinical I realized I wanted to train people holistically, not just isolated injuries. I liked the way that training made my entire body and myself feel so I switched over to Exercise Physiology. I was able to take all of the positives I had gained through training and build a career out of helping people restart, renew or start their lives.
